The desert that is old world SEO-Ibrahim jaffar

Accourding to Ibrahim jaffar in 2011 you should have stopped spammy backlinks. In 2012, if you are still implementing spammy link building (paid or otherwise) then you are at this moment on a tightrope with a whole array of penalisation methods that Google now have in place beneath you and your website.

For any future link generation, my definition of spam is simple. Would the link be generated or arranged if there was no such phenomenon as Google search? 2012 has seen all manner of blog posts under the area of ‘forget link building and move to link generation’.

SEO has mutated into digital marketing. Social skills, usability and intelligent technical onpage skills are needed to keep up with these times of progressive SEO. And yet, still I am seeing spammy link building work in highly competitive verticals. Plenty of SEO agencies doing the wrong thing with a lucrative reward.
